
William Carter
Senior Paralegal
William Carter is the senior paralegal at the George Law Firm LLC. He supports the Corporate law, Complex Civil Litigation and Criminal law sections. Originally from Tampa, Florida, William grew up in a military family and spent a considerable amount of time overseas living in Turkey. After returning to the USA, William has called Charleston home for the past twenty-seven years. With previous experience working in business development and corporate management, William became a part of the team at the George Law Firm LLC in 2017. Educated at both the University of South Carolina as well as Charleston Southern University, William studied Economics, Business Administration, Geography, History and Computer Science. He graduated from Charleston Southern University in 2001 where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics.
William lives with his family on James Island and enjoys many activities related to the water and the environment. He is an active surfer, a renowned amateur photographer and is an active member of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary as well as the Charleston Chapter of the Surfrider Foundation, a grass-roots nonprofit protecting beaches, oceans, and waterways across the United States.
